Hauntings at Heart and Home

(for the before of my mantel, posted as a Fall Transformation, go here)

And now, just for you my lovely visitors, an original  *ahem* " poem".
 (Beware!!)

Today's the day, don't go away, it's time for Halloween!
I've changed the mood, from room to room, to give us each a scream!
Come see the sights, they're quite the frights, each place a scary scene,
We'll have some fun, until it's done, this night of Halloween.

Little and Big Boo...

the Raven...

scaredy cat...

and Ghosts aplenty.....

...are wishing you a very Happy Halloween!

And now, a much better poem, to get you in the mood:

A gentle breeze rustling the dry cornstalks.
A sound is heard, a goblin walks.
A harvest moon suffers a black cat's cry.
Oh' do the witches fly!
Bonfire catches a pumpkins gleem.
Rejoice, it's Halloween!

Heidi-Thanks for your comment on my kitchen post! I looked at your kitchen, but didn't see where to leave a comment, so I'm leaving it here. I LOVE your island-I would love a big working space like that (a big kitchen in general), and I love your bathroom, too. That shower and bath are to die for, and there are so many little touches I like (especially that iridescent tile). Great job. And you're right, I'm soo addicted to this blogging thing--and to think I was scared to get started! Thanks for stopping by!

Great job! That piece in the second photo (is it a birdcage?) looks awesome.

I love your decorations. I just checked out your yard (gorgeous) and your bathroom re-do (outstanding!), and am headed off to some other posts.

P.S. Your house is the exact same color as mine. Exactly! We have gray shutters - otherwise - the same. And we also have the same beadboard in our bathrooms. What we don't have is that glorious shower. Sigh...

Thanks for stopping by...
