I've been cooking and baking for years. I've always loved to eat, so I decided early on that I'd better learn to cook, too! Both my parents were great cooks, and my dad would always say to me, "Heidi, if you can read you can cook". Well, that's a bit of a simplification, but it is a great way to encourage someone to at least try to learn. I love to prepare food that's tasty, healthy and easy. I don't believe it's necessary to use every pot and pan in the kitchen, or in dragging out the process for hours and hours. I just don't have the time for that!
If you want make something that's simple and delicious, I think you'll be happy with any one of these recipes. Notice where my heart is - in baking! I love to bake treats of all kinds, and both my girls have become pretty good bakers themselves. These recipes are tried and true, I hope you will enjoy using them.
