A Blue Monday at Heart and Home

Woke up feeling a little blue myself, on this Blue Monday (posted for Smiling Sally).

Nothing serious, just a case of the blahs, as I anticipate all the chores looming ahead of me as I start this week.

But one look at this little guy, crafted by my very own young Miss Wiz way back in 4th grade, got me smiling again:

And the sweet smell of lavender picked from my very own scraggly garden, put everything right again,

as I count my blessings on this beautiful Monday morning, and anticipate the afternoon.......

when I can curl up here with a favorite book and a cup of tea:

Something lovely to look forward to on this Blue Monday!

Until next time,
XO
Heidi

Howdy
Happy Blue Monday to you.
One of the best blues busters I know is counting one's blessings ,the other one I have discovered is reading all the fabulous Blue Monday posts.
A big thank you to Sally our sweet hostess.
I just love to drag myself over to the computer on Mondays and before I know it I am finding I feel good and slowing I begin to feel great .
May you be blessed through out the rest of the coming week.
Thank you again for sharing ,I can stil smell the fresh lavender :)
Hugs
Happy Trails
