Seeing Red (Hearts!) at Heart and Home

Hi and welcome everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. It was so gorgeous and sunny here, I took advantage of all the sunshine and spent a lot of time outdoors, walking along the coast, feeling the sun on my face, and breathing in that fresh ocean air!  Today it's gray and blustery again, and I'm inside all bundled up and trying to stay warm. I wonder what the groundhog will have to say tomorrow? My guess is we're in for a lot more winter!

It"s starting to look all "Valentiney" around here, so I'm joining the folks for Ruby Tuesday at Work of The Poet, DIY Day at A Soft Place to Land, and  Trash to Treasure Tuesday at Reinvented.

I put the lovers out to remind us to be kind to one another.

The banner I made out of recycled card stock, strung with ribbon, glued and added tons of glitter to hangs from the candle chandelier.

It's the perfect place to display a sparkly and love filled message.
Although, sometimes glitter does fall down into our drinks. I will admit I go a little overboard with the glitzy stuff on some occasions....

At least this way everyone knows what holiday is coming up next.

A heart-shaped candy tin decorated with sweet Cherubs is re-purposed as a decorative item, and sits in a stone heart-shaped bird's nest planter.

Hand-made Valentine cards saved from years ago express love messages

Soon I'll add some pretty red tulips, and those yummy conversation heart-shaped candies. I can't put those out too soon, or I will eat them all...

These are gentle reminders to share our love. (And a sneaky reminder to buy mom chocolate in less than two weeks...)

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you'll be back tomorrow, for the first ever Heart and Home Wednesday Gratitude party. For more information go HERE.  I'll have MckLinky up by 6:30 PM PST tonight. (I can't wait to see what everyone will share.)

Until next time,
XO
Heidi

Thanks to you Mary, at Work of the Poet, and Kimba at A Soft Place to Land. Also thank you Kimm at  Reinvented for Trash to Treasure Tuesday. I hope you'll come back on Wednesday!
