A Heart and Home Day at the Beach

I hope you'll enjoy our beach outing, this time for The Shabby Chic Cottage Beach Party! Thanks Gina!

We spent a lazy afternoon strolling on the beach,

breathing in the clean, clear, salty ocean air

and feeling the mist of the waves on our faces.

We watched in wonder the order and rhythm of nature,

and the power of the sea.

We dipped our toes in the icy, clear water

and spent time alone to consider our thoughts.

We spent an afternoon together at the ocean, enjoying each other and the beauty of our surroundings,
and when we returned home, we took some of the offerings of the sea with us: our pockets full of shells, rocks and sea glass sand in our shoes and salt in our hair.(see them HERE)

The memories made on simple days are the ones I recall most fondly. I'm grateful for the blessing of a satisfying day together, strolling on the beach.

Until next time,
XO
Heidi

I envy your day at the beach! When we relocated from the Bay Area to Newcastle, we moved 3 hours from the beach. I miss it...

Loved the photos & the descriptions. I want to go to the beach. But I want a nice deserted beach. All the beaches in southern California are too crowded (at least the ones I've been to).
