Heart and Home: My Favorite City

Mr. H&H and I spent a long, wonderful, weekend "high on a hill", in my favorite city.

We walked all day, exploring the delights of the architecture

and the hidden plazas,

and viewing the historic murals painted during 30's and 40's.

We relaxed near 5 story high fountains

that appeared to fall straight from the sky

and enjoyed the cooling breezes as we rode a ferry across the "blue and windy sea"

in our favorite city on the bay, where we left our hearts

in San Francisco.

That was a little peek of our (mostly outdoor) weekend outing, come back next Wednesday for more. Go see other outdoor postings at A Southern Daydreamer Outdoor Wednesday. Thanks Susan!

Until then

Your photo's are lovely. Where ever I live..I plant redwoods. Five at my last home and so far two here. They are thriving..and so beautiful! They change the my world down here in Southern California...
